Privacy Policy

Last updated: December 16, 2025

Introduction

Welcome to Orbit Fasting ("Orbit" or the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how Fast Orbit Apps ("we" or "us"), as the developer of Orbit Fasting, collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you use the App. We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with all applicable laws and regulations, including Apple's App Store Guidelines and privacy laws like the GDPR and CCPA. We only collect data that is necessary to provide and improve the App in line with the principle of data minimization. By using Orbit Fasting, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information when you use Orbit Fasting:

We do not collect any financial payment information (all purchases are handled by Apple) and we do not knowingly collect any sensitive personal data beyond what is listed above. In particular, we do not collect data about your precise location, your health conditions, or any information about your race, religion, or other protected characteristics. Orbit Fasting is intended for general wellness tracking and not for collecting sensitive health information.

How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

Our use of your data is based on one or more legal grounds under applicable law. In general, we process personal data to fulfill our contract with you (to provide the App's services you requested), with your consent (for example, when you provide optional profile information or agree to analytics), and for our legitimate interests in improving and securing our App. We only rely on legitimate interests where such use is proportionate and respects your privacy rights. Where required by law, we will ask for your consent before processing certain data or providing certain features.

Third-Party Service Providers

We utilize a few trusted third-party services (acting as our "data processors" or service providers) to operate core functions of Orbit Fasting. We only share your data with these third parties to the extent necessary to provide and improve our services, and we ensure that they are bound to protect your information and comply with privacy standards comparable to ours. The third-party services we use include:

We have agreements in place with each of these providers to ensure your data is handled with care and only used for the purposes we dictate. These third parties are not allowed to use your information for their own marketing or any purpose other than providing services to Orbit Fasting. We do not share your personal information with any other third parties except as described in this Policy.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

Aside from the service providers above, we do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their own commercial uses. We will never share your personal details with advertisers or unrelated parties. We may disclose information in the following limited circumstances:

In all cases, we aim to ensure any disclosure of your data is compliant with applicable privacy laws and is necessary and proportionate. We will not disclose more information than is required in any given situation.

Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as it is needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. In practice, this means we will keep your profile information and fasting logs while your account is active. Fasting data helps you track your progress over time, so we keep it until you choose to delete it or delete your account. If you decide to delete your Orbit account (or request us to delete your data), we will remove or anonymize your personal information from our active databases, except for any information we are required to retain for legal compliance or legitimate business purposes.

For example, we may retain certain transaction records (such as subscription purchase history, if any) for accounting/tax obligations or record-keeping integrity. If data is kept for a period after deletion, it will be limited and securely stored until deletion is feasible. We also periodically review the data we have and delete or de-identify records that are no longer needed. Backup copies of your data might persist for a short time in our backup systems, but we will also delete those in the normal backup retention cycle.

Your Rights and Choices

Access, Correction, and Deletion: You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you and to request a copy of it. You also have the right to request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete information (for instance, if you update your weight or email, you can change it in your profile, and if any other data is wrong you can ask us to fix it). Moreover, you can request deletion of your personal data and account. Orbit Fasting provides an in-app option to delete your account (in compliance with Apple's requirements to allow account deletion within the app). Using the account deletion feature will erase your profile and fasting data from our systems (after a brief processing period). If you have any difficulty, you may also contact us at our support email to request deletion. Once your deletion request is processed, your personal data will be removed or anonymized from our active records, except for data we may need to retain for legal reasons (as noted above). We will confirm with you once we have deleted the requested data.

Withdrawal of Consent: If we are processing any of your personal data based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. For example, if you initially allowed certain optional data collection (such as analytics recording via Smartlook), you can opt-out by adjusting the settings (if available in-app) or contacting us to express your choice. Note that withdrawing consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing already carried out, but it will mean we stop the specific consent-based processing going forward.

Opt-Out of Analytics and Tracking: We understand that some users may not want certain analytics data (like Smartlook session recordings or Crashlytics data) to be collected. While we do not offer a self-serve toggle for Crashlytics (as crash reports are critical for app stability), you may opt-out of Smartlook session recordings by contacting us. Smartlook also supports a "Do Not Record" setting for individual users; if you wish to activate this, please reach out to us and we can enable an opt-out for your device or account. We do not use any third-party advertising trackers in the app. And as mentioned, we do not collect location data, so there is nothing to opt-out of in that regard.

California Privacy Rights: If you are a California resident, you are entitled to specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the CPRA. These include the right to know what personal information we collect, how we use it, and with whom we share it, the right to delete personal information we have collected from you (with certain exceptions), the right to correct inaccurate personal information, the right to opt-out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. Orbit Fasting does not sell your personal information to third parties, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights. If you are a California resident and send us a verifiable request regarding any of these rights (for example, to access or delete your data), we will respond as required by law. To make such a request, you can email us at fastorbitapps@gmail.com with the subject "CCPA Request" and we will guide you through the verification process (we need to verify your identity to process these requests).

European Union (GDPR) Rights: If you are in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have additional rights under the GDPR. These include the right to be informed about how your data is used (which this Privacy Policy addresses), the right of access to your data, the right to rectification (correction) of your data, the right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"), the right to restrict processing of your data in certain cases, the right to data portability (to receive your data in a structured, commonly used format), and the right to object to certain processing (such as objecting to processing done in legitimate interests, or to opt out of direct marketing). You also have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing if it produces legal or similarly significant effects on you – note that Orbit Fasting does not engage in any such profiling or automated decision-making that would impact you in that way. To exercise any of your GDPR rights, you may use the in-app controls (for example, account deletion or editing profile for rectification) or contact us at our support email. We will respond to requests within the timeframes required by law (generally one month for GDPR). Additionally, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local Data Protection Authority if you believe we have infringed your data protection rights. We encourage you to contact us first so we can address any concern.

Managing Your Information: You can review and update most of your profile information any time in the App's settings (for example, you can change your weight or update your fasting goal selections). If you need help accessing, correcting, or deleting any data, please contact us. For security, we may ask you to verify your identity before fulfilling sensitive requests (like an access or deletion request) to ensure that these rights are exercised by the correct individual.

Security Measures

We take the security of your personal information seriously and implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it. For example, all communication between the Orbit Fasting app and our servers (including Supabase and other services) is encrypted via HTTPS in transit to prevent eavesdropping. Supabase also stores data encrypted at rest. Access to personal data in our database is restricted to authorized personnel who need it to operate and develop the app, and they are bound by confidentiality. We regularly update our application and backend to address security vulnerabilities. In addition, our third-party providers (Google Firebase, Supabase, Smartlook) are reputed companies that employ industry-standard security measures and comply with frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, and/or GDPR requirements to safeguard data.

However, please note that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. It is important that you also protect your account credentials and avoid sharing your login information with others. If you suspect any unauthorized access to your account or any security breach, please notify us immediately so we can take action. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

Children's Privacy

Orbit Fasting is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 years old. If you are under 13, please do not use the App or provide any information about yourself. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information from our records promptly. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child under 13 has provided us with information, please contact us at fastorbitapps@gmail.com so that we can investigate and delete the data.

For minors aged 13 to 17, we recommend using Orbit Fasting only with parental consent and supervision, especially since fasting can have health implications. By using the App, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age, or that you are 13 or older and have your parent or guardian's consent to use the service. We encourage parents to discuss responsible use of apps like Orbit Fasting and to monitor their teenagers' wellness activities.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons. If we make material changes, we will notify you by appropriate means – for example, by posting the updated Policy in the app/website and updating the "Last updated" date at the top, or by sending you a notification or email if you have provided one. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we are protecting your information. Your continued use of Orbit Fasting after any changes to this Policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree with any updates to the Policy, you should stop using the App and may request that we delete your data.

Contact Us

If you have any questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy or your personal data, please contact us at fastorbitapps@gmail.com. We will be happy to assist you and address any issues. For privacy-specific inquiries or requests (such as data access or deletion), please include "Privacy" in your subject line so we can route your email appropriately.

By using Orbit Fasting, you trust us with your information, and we in turn are committed to honoring that trust by keeping your data private and secure. Thank you for reading our Privacy Policy.
